Here’s your chance to get to know her a little better.
Q: What’s a little known fact about you?
A: I am a first-generation college graduate. Applying to, and attending, a university when no one else in your family has ever done it can be overwhelming. I am so thankful for the degrees I have earned and the richness they bring to my personal and professional life.
Q: If you could give one piece of advice to an MBA applicant, what would it be?
A: Be authentic. Trust me, Admissions Committees can tell if an applicant is just writing what they think committees want to hear. You are applying to a top school because you have overcome challenges, worked hard, and reached goals. Tell that story!
Q: What is your favorite part about working with ARINGO?
A: This is an amazing organization. My favorite part is meeting so many incredible applicants.
Q: What’s your favorite ARINGO client story?
A:, I recently worked with a client who left her home country to live in the US at 14 years old. She has built an incredible career here. I was amazed at her accomplishments, but also with her wisdom and humility.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
A: Iceland. If the pictures are that beautiful, can you imagine what it must be like in real life?
Q: What’s the biggest mistake you could make on your application?
A: Spelling and grammatical errors. Spell Check is not enough. Have someone else proofread your application, twice! I am a big fan of the book, “The Elements of Style” by Strunk and White. It is a smaller book, yet has great information on proper grammar and spelling
