Harvard published an initial 2013 class profile of the students who are scheduled to begin their studies there this September.

Of 9,134 applicants, only 12% were accepted and 918 signed up for the program. Women represent 39% of the incoming class and 34% are international students from 68 different countries.

The students’ median GMAT score is 730 and the average age is 27.

Forty-three percent of students hold a B.A. in Humanities/Social Sciences and 36% studied
Engineering/Natural Sciences. Twenty-one percent of students have career experience in consulting and 13% have a background in Venture Capital/Private Equity.
