MIT Sloan published the following update on their admissions blog:

“Here are some key interview invitation dates to be aware of:

  • Tuesday, February 21st – First batch of interview invitations will be sent
  • Friday, February 24th – Second batch of interview invitations will be sent
  • Wednesday, March 1st – Third batch of interview invitations will be sent
  • Friday, March 3rd – Fourth and final batch of interview invitations will be sent

By March 3rd, all Round 2 applicants will receive either an interview invitation or updated decision status by the end of the business day.

Round 2 interviews kick-off Monday, February 27th and will continue through Monday, March 27th. We expect to interview approximately 20% of the Round 2 applicant pool. Please keep in mind that interview invitations are sent based on our interviewers’ travel schedules, and not in any preferential order.

For Round 2 we plan to conduct interviews in 13 cities including Cambridge, Bangkok, Dallas, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Paris, San Francisco, Santiago, São Paulo, Seoul, Shanghai, and Tokyo. The location of the interview will not be a decision factor, but for those who can make it to campus, we host special programming for interviewees, including lunch with current students and a class visit. Please note that all applicants invited to interview have the option to come to Cambridge for their interview.

If invited for an interview, you will receive an MIT Sloan Interview Guide with details on how to best prepare for the Behavioral Event Interview (BEI).”
